How God Provides

Our family had a blast today! My birthday is only on March 15th but we decided to celebrate a little early.  🙂

I started my day by sending off the I-800 Petition Form above to the US Immigration Services (USCIS). I also just sent in a check to our agency. Throughout this journey, our family has experienced God’s hand and the check I sent today is a prime example of how God always provides.

Two weeks ago, during our team meeting at work, a co-worker asked what each person’s prayer request was. I mentioned that another lump sum was due for the adoption. We received a grant last year that covered most of it but we still had a balance remaining.

Apart from the team, we didn’t really mention the finance piece to anyone and just believed that God would provide. Well, He not only provided what we needed for the balance but a bit extra for our next payment! We’re still not done yet but we know the rest of our payments will be covered just in time.

The Bible has a story in the book of Exodus where God rained down manna (bread) and quail from heaven. He provided what they needed. I don’t doubt that God can provide for us. He can do the same thing today and just rain things from heaven but more often than not, He uses people. We experience God’s faithfulness, love, goodness, and provision through so many of you. Thank you for your persistent prayers and selfless giving. You may never know on this side of heaven how much of an impact you’ve made on our family!
