I don’t even know where to start! Sheesh.. it’s like I took a long sabbatical from my blog because I felt like I didn’t have much to say.
The last few months have been grueling when it comes to adoption news but I don’t want to completely gloss over the other important areas of my life…the fact that my daughter is now in the first grade!! Yay! And she has a “boy” teacher for the first time. Lol. So proud of her. And my four year old has wanted to be included in everything his sister does so he has started reading and now refers to himself as a ‘smart boy’ (we may have mentioned it to him way too many times – talk about labeling someone- Oops! No pressure son!)
I also have been blessed to celebrate my awesome hubby’s birthday. I don’t praise him much because words of affirmation don’t come naturally to me and it really sounds like I’m struggling with what to say. I probably should write to him instead but I hope he reads this and knows how much he means to me! He is not only an amazing leader (I would know because he leads our family), but a true partner (he takes care of giving the kids a bath everyday among so many other chores) AND he always picks us over doing other things! He loves to spend time with us! God truly outdid himself by giving me the perfect companion for this ride called ‘life’.
To top things off, I celebrated my 3 year work-anniversary at a pretty cool place called LifeChurch.tv, doing what I love to do, with some incredible people. 🙂
