Just to give everyone an update of what’s been happening with our adoption process….
Well, things are bit slower than hoped. To provide you all with some context, India has an online registry that opens up once a month for international families to be entered. Once families are entered into the system, they are basically in the phase where they wait to be matched to their child/children.
CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority) in India had said that their online registry would be opening up February 1, 2013. But unfortunately, they were not. In February, they said that they would open March 1st and sadly, we were informed that the registry was not open. Now we are praying and hopeful about April 1st.
Although it’s a bit discouraging, we know and believe in God’s timing so Alan and I are not frustrated and disheartened. It has reminded me of a verse in the Bible (Revelation 3:7) where it says “..What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open."
He knows what’s best for us so rest assured that when God opens a door for you, no one can stand in the way!
